Service Description

This popular half day workshop is a fun introduction to clay and ideal for beginners or if you can’t commit to regular classes. The session will start with a short demonstration of slab building, how to apply simple surface pattern plus throwing on the potters wheel. Next it’s over to you to get making your own! You can expect to make two pieces such as a bowl & textured slab vase. Finish off your wares by painting with colourful underglazes. They will then be fired with transparent glaze. Collection 2-3 wks. Duration 2:30-4:30
