Service Description
What you'll do: In this series of three classes, you'll learn wheel throwing, trimming, and glazing basic cylinders. The classes are relaxed and perfect for beginners - you won't feel rushed at all. You'll get detailed demonstrations, and lots of feedback wherever you need it; the classes are deliberately kept small so that you get enough attention from me, Kelly your teacher! The finished (fired) pottery you make will be yours to keep. Ideas would include: Bowls and plates Mugs and cups Planters or vases Food bowl for your pet Candle holder Most students will create three different objects. I can't wait to see what you'll make! Each class is two hours long, and you'll enjoy one class per week, for three weeks - this allows enough time for drying and firing your pieces in between the classes. I look forward to welcoming you! Perfect for beginners. What you'll get: All equipment and clay is provided. What to bring: Please wear casual clothes and shoes. Please bring an apron or a towel. Session repeats This class series runs over 3 consecutive sessions, at the same time every week.
